BIBLE GIVEAWAYs 2014-2024

Praise God that over the years, Sporting Marvels has been able to gift more than 10,000 Bibles into the lives and homes of thousands of 10 and 11-year-old Rhondda children. The intensity and relationship-focus of Sporting Marvels means that prior to receiving their Bible, each child will have spent a minimum of 12 months (for about 20% of pupils, it's 24 months) participating in our Mighty Marvels Programme.
The numbers are truly massive, and in July 2025, we gave away nearly 900 Bibles, with every single one endorsed with a personal hand-written message from each child’s respective Marvels.
The first Bible Giveaways took place in 2006 and 2007. Following the financial crash of 2008/09 and its challenging aftermath, the Bible Giveaway had to wait until 2014 to be reinstated. With God’s grace and favour, it’s happened annually every year since, except for the 2020 and 2021, because of the Covid/lockdown disruptions.
